Rich Skelton, who is in the midst of hisHeeler’s Only Roping Clinic Tour, stopped by The Score Podcast after he spent two days in Colorado’s 90-plus degree heat helping heelers elevate their roping on the Bones, on the Heel-O-Matic and on live steers.
Fresh on his mind after all that was what every day ropers can do to hone their craft, and The Score host Chelsea Shaffer got to ask him questions about his career and how he’s helping ropers across the country through his clinics. Skelton’s eight world titles have absolutely made him a legend, but to me, it’s his accessibility to the everyday roper that makes him stand out among Hall of Famers.
