Patrick Smith and an Introduction to the Breeding Game

World Champion Heeler Patrick Smith owns stallion WSR Hesa Dunofa Lena, and he’s been on a sharp learning curve in the rope horse breeding business since his 2019 stallion purchase. His stud “Rooster” is coming off an injury and a winter in the breeding barn, and he’s ready to hit the rodeo road with Smith behind header Tanner Tomlinson for the summer run. In this episode, we talk about all that Patrick’s learned and what his plans for the stallion are, PLUS you can hear about the $358,500 Royal Crown coming up May 9-15 in Waco, Texas.
