Don McLean is the legendary singer/songwriter best known for his hits “(Bye Bye, Miss) American Pie.” “Vincent,” and “And I Love You So.” He was the first songwriter to have number one hits in two separate centuries, and “American Pie” has been chosen by the Recording Industry Association of America as one of the top five songs of the twentieth century.
