Michele McLeod’s story is truly one of dedication, perseverance, and the love of horses. Her story is also an example of, “When something is meant to be, nothing is going to stop it.” We get to watch foals by Slick By Design win every single weekend now days, but this story goes back to how Michele and Slick teamed up to start their story together, one that truly secured their names in the history books forever. From their Fort Smith Derby championship to their first NFR, Michelle overcoming her accident at the end of 2016 to making it back to the finals the following year, her role as a mom and watching her daughters win at the highest levels, as well as managing her own clinics and breeding program now – we talk about it all!
