When you saw a big gray gelding and a bright colored shirt with fringe fly into the arena in the early 2000’s, you knew you were about to witness a great run. Kelly Kaminski and Rockem Sockem Go captivated the rodeo world in the early 2000’s winning 2 straight Reserve World Championships, followed up by back to back World Champion titles. We had the opportunity to talk to Kelly and really hear the story of Rocky and how their partnership started with a $500 broodmare purchase and ending as one of the most legendary duos in rodeo history. Kelly has continued to make an impact on our industry long after Rocky’s running days, creating her KK Run for Vegas Youth Championships, training colts, and traveling with her daughter Kenna.
