With the end of the 2024 season upon us, we got the notice that the nominations were due for the Horse of the Year awards for the WPRA. We decided to call a few of the cowgirls that have rodeoed against the best of the best all year to get their insight on what they feel earns a horse this title. No matter who wins, one thing is apparent and that’s the fact that each and every girl has such a high respect for these equine athletes and that the level of talent and athleticism in the top horses going down the road raises the bar each and every year. We are huge fans of all of these horses and cowgirls!
