Makenzie Mayes won over $83,000 this year during her first year in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association to earn the 2025 Rookie World Title! We were able to get her insight on what it’s like to live on the rodeo trail all summer and what she learned the most while managing her great mares through the ups and downs of rodeo. Her motto is “Refuse to Lose” and we can’t think of a more fitting motto for her year!
