Janie Johnson grew up in the western lifestyle but had passions outside of the industry, like film making. One horse kept her anchored in the sport, and because of her refusal to sell her high school rodeo horse, she blended her passions and has since created a career for herself in broadcasting and the rodeo industry. Janie’s voice is what we hear when we watch some of the most spectacular runs every year from the American to Calgary and the NFR, and we wanted to have her on The Money Barrel to learn more about her background, her preparation before each rodeo, and how she has found her niche in this sport.
