Today we’re joined by Cheyenne Wimberley, someone who’s spent nearly her entire life in professional barrel racing. She filled her WPRA permit at just 11 years old, qualified for her first National Finals Rodeo in 1997 aboard the horse “April Hemp”, and then returned to the NFR nearly two decades later. Over the years, Cheyenne has been successful in every avenue of the sport—rodeoed at the highest level, developed futurity horses, built a successful training program, and even created her own saddle line. She’s also had a front-row seat to the incredible growth of our industry and has adapted right alongside it. We hope you enjoy our conversation with Cheyenne.
