In our Ask the L this month, Aviva talks about what a judge looks for in a scribe: the ins and outs of being able to keep up, to keep quiet, and to keep the judge on time!
This month we have the pleasure of interviewing Jordan LaPlaca of Maverick Hill Dressage, based in Ledyard, CT and Wellington, Florida. Jordan recently came back from Europe after taking two horses over for the summer with our USA Dressage Team. He competed his self produced horse GoldPlay at Hagen, and tells us all about his time in Europe, making the best decisions for his horse, and what it is like to compete there versus in the US.
We talk about how Jordan got to this current level of sport and recognition, the ins and outs of making it in the dressage world and his concerns for the future of our sport. Jordan gives us a dead honest look at being a professional in the highest levels of competition while also protecting the honor of his horse. We think you will LOVE listening to him, we certainly did!
